Emmanuelle Coignet

Founder & Behavior Analyst

Qualifications

  • ACC-A
  • BCBA
  • Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis — The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
  • Bachelor of Science in Autism Behavioral Studies — Saint Joseph's University

“A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, ACC-A) and founder of Atelier Phénix, I have spent over 14 years supporting children, adolescents, and young adults across a range of profiles — autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges — as well as their families. My practice is grounded in applied behavior analysis: individualized programs built on careful assessment, continuous data collection, and adjustments made as the person progresses — never a fixed protocol applied the same way twice. I give equal weight to the science and to the relationship; no intervention holds if the child and the family don't feel respected within it. I founded Atelier Phénix in Nice to bring together practitioners who share that standard: rigorous, ethical practice, ongoing supervision, and close collaboration with families, schools, and the other professionals around each person. Alongside direct practice, I contribute to the development of behavior analysis in France through supervision and professional certification work. What matters most to me is ordinary progress — a request made independently, a routine that finally holds, a family that feels equipped rather than overwhelmed.”

Specialized Educator

Qualifications

  • State Diploma in Specialised Education (DEES), IRTS PACA et Corse, Marseille
  • Graduate Diploma in Specialized Studies (DESS) in Behavioral Intervention — Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)

“Trained as a specialized educator, I quickly oriented my career toward supporting individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders — a field I am deeply passionate about and that has always been at the heart of my professional aspirations. To deepen my expertise, I completed a graduate diploma in behavioral intervention, which introduced me to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) — a rigorous, individualized, and compassionate approach. For over 5 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of profiles — autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, other neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioral challenges, and visual impairment — as well as their families, to support and promote the autonomy and development of each individual. Since January, I have been enrolled in an ABA International-recognized training program, deepening my knowledge and working toward becoming a Behavior Analyst.”

Behavior Therapist

Qualifications

  • State Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (équivalent Master-DEA-DESS) — Saint Petersburg
  • ABA PRO-1: Behavioral Technician Training — implementing behavioral programs under the supervision of a qualified supervisor

“With a degree in early childhood pedagogy and psychology, I place great importance on an individualized approach — one that respects the pace, needs, and potential of each child. My career, which began at a child development center in Saint Petersburg, allowed me to develop the skills to create reassuring and motivating environments where children can thrive and learn with pleasure. In France, I found myself increasingly supporting children with learning and developmental difficulties — autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental particularities — which led me to specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a method I continue to deepen and apply in my practice. Concrete progress is at the heart of my work. Every small victory matters — seeing a child regain confidence, move forward, and succeed where they once struggled is what gives this work its full meaning. My goal is to offer every child a caring and supportive environment, helping them grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential.”

Joy Malata

Joy Malata

Community Manager and Behavior Therapist

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Social Science from Edith Cowan University
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education from North Metropolitan TAFE
  • Currently enrolled in ABA PRO-1: Behavioral Technician Training

“With a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, I've spent more than ten years working alongside children and families in Australia and France. I bring creativity to everything I do, along with a deep belief in community — belonging to one, and helping build spaces where people feel safe and welcome. The saying that it takes a village to raise a child has always resonated with me: to me, it means creating an environment where every person has room to grow. In my role as Community Manager, I see social media as a powerful tool for sharing relevant and useful information that answers the questions families often have, and for fostering understanding toward individuals and communities affected by the autism spectrum and beyond. I am currently completing ABA PRO-1 training.”
